The unique jewelry designs of Nancy Tzeng are hand crafted using fused glass techniques in a glass kiln that reaches temperatures of up to 1800 degrees. Nancy mainly works in her studio located in Evergreen, CO. She creates a variety of wearable art pieces from rings to earrings to necklace sets. First, designs are drawn out in a sketchbook. Each piece is then carefully cut, layered and fused in the kiln. Afterwards, the jewelry is cold worked and the pieces are placed back in the kiln to fire polish. All of Nancy’s work attempts to capture the changing colors and play of light that are part of the essence of fused glass.
