The Cotery Pop Up Shop
Friday, September 4th at 6pm and runs Saturday and Sunday 11am to 5pm.
Buffalo Exchange 51 Broadway
Boulder-based startup The Cotery is collaborating with Denver’s Buffalo Exchange back gallery to host a unique art show and pop-up shop bringing exclusive, locally designed, limited-run fashion to Denver.
The Cotery is an online marketplace where creatives can design and sell limited edition, small batch USA made garments with no upfront costs. The Cotery handles the production and the shipment to the customer (AKA the hard stuff), allowing the artist to focus on what they do best!
The fashion art show “Cut and Sew” will showcase limited-run garments designed by local artists, accompanied by the original artwork which gave life to the clothing. Featured artists include Ancient + Future, Heather Taylor, JDP, Katy Zimmerman, Lauri Lynnxe Murphy, Samuel Mata, SDK, and Will Day.
The event will be hosted by new and used fashion retailer Buffalo Exchange in Denver, and customers will have access to pre-selling designs as well as in-stock pieces which have been produced recently by The Cotery. Be sure to come by and get your hands on some of these limited-run designer garments, and don’t miss the whisky tasting sponsored by Blank & Booth Distilling Company on opening night!
The Cut and Sew fashion art show and pop-up shop will be hosted at the Denver Buffalo Exchange at 51 Broadway Street, Denver, CO 80203. The show opens on first Friday, September 4th at 6pm and runs Saturday and Sunday 11am to 5pm.
Wooooo hooooooo!!!! We are thrilled to announce that our spring fashion market will be held at the breathtaking and historical piece of Denver… The Byers-Evans House Museum located on the corner of 13th and Bannock, right behind the Denver Art Museum!
If you can imagine the lawn and gardens and throughout the courtyard will be filled with 25 Colorado designers and fashion businesses for a fashion day of fun! We’ll have croquet, tea and tea sandwiches, live entertainment, and spring fashion!
If you are a Downton Abbey fan, my inspiration comes from the outdoor scenes at the grand castle! I know the Byers and Evans families would be thrilled to see such beautiful fashions on their lawn and in their courtyard!
After spending time with the inspiring women at Warren Village, I want to continue to help this amazing organization as much as possible! This email came across my desk and I wanted to pass along the information and see if there is anything you may be able to contribute to make this day spectacular! Please see Brianna’s message below and contact her directly….
Thank you in advance!

I am writing to let you know about an upcoming event benefitting Warren Village parents called “Millionaire’s Pampering”. This event, which will take place on April 11th, has been put on by a dedicated volunteer for the last 20+ years, and the goal is to give our parents a relaxing day of beauty and pampering treatments, free of charge. It’s a day that builds confidence and self-esteem, and makes everyone feel valued and beautiful! The event is entirely coordinated and hosted by volunteers who bring in massage therapists, hair stylists, and beauty professionals to serve 50 parents.
To make this day really special, we are seeking small gifts and door-prizes. These could range from gift certificates to hair brushes, jewelry to make-up, and everything in between. I know you put on your amazing fashion show each year, and I wondered if you might have any contacts who would be interested in supporting our event with in-kind donations or volunteer services.
I’d be happy to discuss any of this in further detail, and of course, please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions at all!

FASHION DENVER + NUE = ELEVATE
FALL FASHION MARKET
Sunday, October 26th from 10-6pm
We are absolutely thrilled to partner up with new national fashion magazine NUE MAGAZINE for our fall fashion market ELEVATE! NUE MAGAZINE is dedicated to supporting the independent local designers, boutiques, and fashion bloggers with price points that are tangible for all. ..not to mention their passion for street style!
Our fall fashion market will be covered in a future issue of NUE Magazine and this is the perfect opportunity to get your designs out there on a national level.
Our market will be held at the breathtaking SPACE GALLERY (their new location at 400 Santa Fe).
During this fashion market, we will produce 4 fashion shows with the following themes:
1st show: Weekend Mornings. What are fashionistas around the nation wearing during a weekend morning? Lounging in lingerie, heading out to brunch with friends, yoga and farmers market. We want the first fashion show to highlight these fashionable options. The first fashion show will also be accompanied by mimosas, light breakfast delights, and live jazz music.
2nd show: Weekday workday / school day. What is being worn to work, school, or even working from home? This is a typical weekday outfit fashion show and will be accompanied by our DJ and light afternoon apps.
3rd fashion show: Jewelry only. The jewelry portion of this fall fashion market is being managed by Richard Kalisher, publisher of NUE Magazine and Eclat magazine (a magazine dedicated to jewelry and the lifestyle of jewelry). This fashion show will highlight the participating jewelry designers. Please note that jewelry will be included in the other fashion shows too. This show will be accompanied by high tea and tea sandwiches.
4th fashion show: Evening into night! What are people wearing to black tie affairs, out on the town dancing fun, and even to bed. This fashion show will be accompanied by champagne and dessert!
As you can see, we are stepping everything up a notch! If you have received this invitation, we feel that your designs would be perfect in this fall fashion market and want to get you the national exposure that you are ready for!
