Joyas Julie Nolan What materials do you usually use? Sterling, Brass, Copper, Semiprecious Stones, Pearls & Leather. what is the story behind the name of your line? Joyas means "jewels" in Spanish. Several things came together for me to use that word to represent my jewelry: (1) I studied Spanish at Metro (2) I didn't want to use my given name to represent my line (3) I like the word Joyas because it has the word Joy in it and jewelry adds joy to life. what is the first piece you ever made? A necklace if that's what you'd call wooden beads on a string at the age of 3. if you could dress anyone in the world who would it be? I certainly wouldn't be disappointed if Michelle Obama decided to pair a piece of my jewelry with an outfit. I would also love to collaborate with Gwen Stefani. where can we find your designs?
