Free Ravin: Scarlet Ravin
How would you describe the style of your designs?
I would describe my design style as free and spirited, everything I use is light and has with in it a symbolic meaning of something greater. I use a lot of amulets and symbols that I have brought back from my travels to other countries like the evil eye, Hamsa, Scarab, Horse Shoe to name a few, and I love to attach them to my pieces. I also use a lot of different crystals to charge the jewelry so it’s not just a pretty piece to wear, but a protection and blessing for the person sporting it.
Where do you gain inspiration from?
I gain my inspiration from love, all of the love I feel in my heart and the beauty I see in this world is a mirrored reflection of what I create.
What’s the first piece you ever made?
The first piece I ever made was a simple two feather, one bead earring that I wore for months before I decided to continue. I started getting compliments from my friends, then they started asking for some for their friends and before I knew it I had customers out the door waiting to wear my creations.
What’s the story behind the name of your line?
The name freeravin is simple. Freedom means everything for me, my self freedom of expression and the freedom to love, the freedom to create and the freedom to share my true self with the world is my intention, no holding back. Ravin is simply my last name, so together, I am freeravin.
What materials do you usually use?
I usually use feathers, 14k gold metal and platinum metals, I use wiring and amulets from other countries as well as natural crystals.

My designs are for sale through my website www.freeravin.com, as well as shop Goldyn in the highlands of Denver, the Denver Artisan Center in Cherry Creek, Coral Charlotte in Charlotte North Carolina, the Pump House Surf Shop in MA. Lotus Seed Yoga in Ithaca, NY and now currently fashion Denver!
If you could dress anyone in the world who would it be?
If I could dress anyone in the world it would have to be Kate Hudson, I love her sweet natural body, her bohemian style and her free spirit.

I would love to let the world know that I love creating with my hands, my jewelry creations expanded into chandeliers, like earrings for your house! I love decorating skulls with paint, feathers and crystal adornment for artistic decoration and I am currently looking to expand my chandelier lighting creations to share with the world. I also love doing custom designs and creating a special pair of earrings or necklace just for you and your new outfit! I am open to any artist collaborations and am here on this planet to love you through my art, so enjoy!
