Music and Art! This event is presented by Colorado Music Buzz
Magazine, Fancy by Accident and A-Dre Productions. Flaunt
will be hosted by 9 News’ entertainment guru, Kirk Montgomery.
Tickets are $30 which includes Food and Drink, and a portion
of the Proceeds will go to Dress for Success. Flaunt is a

fashion portion will entail a live fashion photoshoot featuring
our inhouse designers at Fashion Denver including Rae Marie,
Studio Yoshida, and Francis Roces. The shoot takes place at
10:30pm.

Tootsie's Nail Saolon as well as listen and dance to the fabulous
musical stylings of Bobby Collins! We're also very excited

will not be a drag for Denver’s craft and DIY devotees.
Brini Maxwell, author and STYLE network personality, will
be hosting the DIY event of the season. Fresh City Life and
Fancy Tiger are teaming up to host Maxwell for a workshop
on making handmade tassels and pom-poms and, in the words
of style maven Maxwell, “implementing tassels and pom-poms
into your décor and fashion.”
Brini
Maxwell is a fixture on the style and fashion scene in New
York City. Beginning with a cable access show on design, homekeeping
and gracious living, her mod design sensibilities and keen
eye for turning thrift store finds into retro redux interior
design showpieces, soon lead to a STYLE network show with
a loyal fan following.
The
Brini Maxwell Show spawned a book – Brini Maxwell’s
Guide to Gracious Living, as well as DVDs of the show and
a website that hosts a cornucopia of Maxwell’s tips
and tricks for living a style-conscious life, as well as links
to her recent vid- and podcasts and upcoming events. She’s
leading a Caribbean Crafting Cruise in September with Margot
Potter, the Impatient Crafter.
At
Crafts for the Masses on June 19, Maxwell will be demonstrating
techniques for making simple tassels and pom-poms, more complex
tassel making, and various ways to use them for interior design
accents and to enhance your wardrobe. Participants will also
have a chance to ask Ms. Maxwell about any pressing style,
entertaining and homekeeping questions. Copies of Maxwell’s
book will be available for purchase and signing.

addition to her all-day workshop at Denver Public Library,
Fancy Tiger will be throwing a welcome reception on Friday,
June 18 in honor of Ms. Maxwell – for invited guests

Katharine
Salzgeber found her passion for making jewelry a couple years
ago. Her inspiration comes from the beautiful natural stones
that she uses. She finds that the color, pattern and texture

with women’s unique styles. She loves to use semi-precious
gemstones because each stone has a corresponding metaphysical
use or story behind it. To accent these she uses silver- and
gold-plated elements as well as copper and sometimes brass.

accessories, and clothing offered by talented local designers.
Proceeds from the $5 admission fee will help support the educational
school field trip programs of the Grant-Humphreys Mansion
and the Byers-Evans House Museum.
Exquisite jewelry, fun vibrant tutus, loveable handbags, and
more will fill the mansion for all fashion devotees. As three,
Parisian-style fashion shows wind their way through the many
rooms of the mansion during the day, fashion and history will
