Pastel and neon colors are still around but now they are accompanied by a more muted and subtle color palette, mimicking a metallic look. Where there was pink hair now it’s a dusty rose, where we used to see blue now it’s now steel, purple has now been taken over by smokey lilac.

2)Bangs!
Bangs are tried and true, yet they never really go out of style. For 2017, the longer curtain-like bangs seem to be making a comeback. Celebrity stylist Kristin Ess has even been showcasing the best way to make “faux bangs” for gals that fear next-day bang regrets.

3) Blunt But Textured Bobs
Anh Co Tran has made waves in the hair industry with his blunt haircuts, but yet he still incorporates so much movement. As a stylist, I can tell you that every stylist I know has had an Anh Co Tran style shown as inspiration for a client in the chair.

4) Loose Braids
The bohemian look is back in a major way for 2017, and it’s an easy, second-day style for many different hair types. My personal favorites are hidden braids and fishtails. Braids are here to stay!

5) Full Brows
Gone are the days of agonizing over plucking. We’re seeing the end of super-detailed precise brows, in favor of much more untouched, fuller shapes. This is a natural, low-maintenance, and incredibly sexy look for 2017.

Eyelashes have been a focus area since the dawn of makeup. But we’re now seeing much more creative and effective ways to make lashes really pop. With lash extensions, lash perms, and Keratin lash lifts (which are actually only offered to Denverites in one spot – my salon, Clementine’s), we are noticing a new way to get those peepers noticed.
