PRESS:
The first Fierce in the City event in November 2014 had over 200 guests including well-respected press in the audience and received rave reviews, among them The Denver Post and Fashion Affair Magazine.
“Some fashion events in this city can feel uninspired and disorganized; where questions about the collections are left unanswered, and pieces never make it off the runway. Other times, designers and producers nail it. At ‘Fierce in the City,’ a handy, 32 year-old Owens took the hammer and hit the nail on the head.” ~ Francie Swidler, The Denver Post.
“Sunday evening, Eric and I attended the ‘Fierce In The City’ production orchestrated by Salwa Nahhas Owens at Space Gallery. I must admit, it was by far one of the most professional, distinctive and entertaining fashion events I’ve ever been to in Denver. Kudos to her team, the performers, including Vincent Powell (and others) as well as her elegant and sophisticated S/S2015 Collection, ‘Salwa Owens.’ I look forward to seeing what else she has in store.” ~ Teresa Lipsey, Editor-in-Chief, Fashion Affair Magazine.
