22 Years. One Big Fashion Family.

Holy moly. How are we in 2026?
And how is Fashion Denver turning 22 years old?!

Fashion Denver was born in 2004 when I was 23 years old with a big dream, a tiny budget (as in zero), and absolutely no chill when it came to believing in Colorado designers.

Back then, Denver wasn’t exactly called a “fashion city.”
But I looked around and thought…

“Yes it is. We just need to show people.”

So we did.

Here’s one of our fashion markets from 19 years ago!! 

What Is Fashion Denver?

Fashion Denver is a love letter to independent designers.

It’s a connector.
A cheerleader.
A table-builder.
A runway-maker.

It’s markets, fashion shows, pop-ups, creative collaborations, business development, and countless late-night “you can do this!” conversations.

It’s designers meeting photographers.
Models meeting stylists.
Dreamers meeting opportunity.

It’s community over competition. Always.

Built on Heart (and a little bit A LOT of Hustle)

When I started Fashion Denver, I wasn’t trying to build an empire. I just didn’t want talented creatives to feel alone.

So I created a space. A space where:

• Emerging designers could show their collections
• Small brands could grow
• Collaboration was cool
• And local talent was celebrated loudly

Over the years, we’ve produced markets, runway shows, workshops, pop-ups, camps, and more magical moments than I can count. Through economic shifts, industry pivots, and the wild ride of entrepreneurship, Fashion Denver has kept going.

Why?

Because creatives deserve support. And Denver deserves to shine.

22 Years Later…

We’ve seen designers launch full-time brands.
We’ve seen collaborations spark lifelong friendships.
We’ve seen people step into confidence simply because someone believed in them.

That’s what Fashion Denver really is.

Belief.
