Fashion Denver’s holiday market “Tinsel”

Fashion Denver creates its own Tinsel Town for the holidays

Denver, CO– Snow is covering the ground, reindeer are starting to appear through town, sleigh bells are now the common sound…and the blinding glitter of tinsel is easily found. Yes, the holidays are here and Fashion Denver will be partaking in the festivities for the Winter Market, held on Sunday, December 11th at the Grant-Humphreys mansion from 11am-6pm.

A glitzy all day affair free to the public, “Tinsel” will be an event that supports local designers of Denver, but with a holiday flair. Guests will be able to purchase designs and other items from over 20 different designers for themselves or have a chance to start their gift shopping early. Three fashion shows will also be presented throughout the evening featuring various local designers, ending with a bridal show finale for guests that are in search for that perfect gown to fit their winter white wedding.

For those that aren’t searching for a dress, feel free to tour through the historic Grant-Humphrey’s mansion and be immersed by the lighting, warm fireplaces and faint holiday scents that will fill the senses with cheer and idle comfort.

Staying true to the spirit of the holidays, there will also be a gift-wrapping section, where guests have the opportunity to get ahead of the bustling crowd and finish their holiday duties early. Those that choose to forfeit wrapping their gifts under the tree will also be giving to a good cause, 100% of the proceeds will go to the educational fund at the Byers-Evans educational programs.

Cheer has swarmed through the rooftops of Fashion Denver and it’s screaming to be heard this year, the holiday fashion market will spark ideas, warm up guests through the bitter winter and might even cause Santa himself to be a little curious about the Fashion scene.
