Happy Friday everybody! It sure is nice to have the sun shine and busines pick back up and get back into the swing of things. We’ve recently remodeled Fashion Denver and opened up our boutique / showroom to reach to the back! What a difference movement makes. Last week was hectic getting everything back into place but the hard work payed off. New paint on the walls and new inspiration as we head into spring. Fashion Denver is looking for fresh designers for our spring market at the beautiful and historical Grant-Humphreys mansion. Join Fashion Denver and 20 local Colorado clothing, jewelry, and accessory designers for a day of connecting with the fashion-forward consumer, connecting with boutiques, and connecting with eachother.
-FREE to the public. No more $5.00 admission
-Partnering up with the Denver B-Cycle bike sharing program!
-The market will be part of Create Denver’s Create Denver Week, action packed full of creative events going on from May 12th-May 15th.
-We’ll bring the fashions out onto the mezanine and have the fashion show go throughout the grounds of the mansion.
The market opens to the public at noon and runs until 6 with 3 different fashion shows that run through the course of the day. We’ll also have musical performances in the main room and other fashionable activies happening throughout the day. If the weather permits, I want to have the designers spread out through the grounds of the mansion utilizing the beautiful mezzanine, balconies, as well as the inside.
The benefits for involvement are as follows:
– Extensive PR 6 weeks leading up to the event
– Postcards distributed throughout the state listing participating designers names
– Link to your website from Fashion Denver’s site. We estimate about 8000 unique hits per month
– Boutiques are invited to check out our local designers with potential for your designs to be carried in their stores
– You keep 100% of sales. Keep in mind YOU are responsible for sales tax.
– An opportunity for your designs to be featured in our fashion shows with access to our images from the show and event
Basically, it’s an opportunity to connect with creative people, get your designs out there, and have a fantastic time doing it!
