Fashion Denver attended the much-anticipated RAWards at City Hall last Thursday.  RAWards is the biggest indie arts awards show in the world and is an event that we have been excited for all year! Fashion Denver is a HUGE supporter of local artists, so RAWards was sort of like unleashing us kids into a candy shop.

There was a massive amount of talent scattered through City Hall – with booths set up displaying artwork, bands playing, and fashion shows throughout the night.  It was a night packed with unbelievable talent and promising beginnings for these talented artists.

RAW had an incredibly talented group of artists this year! On behalf of Fashion Denver, we would like to send out a HUGE congratulations to all the nominees and finalists! RAWards proved that Denver’s art scene is a force to be reckoned with — and we wish the finalists the best of luck as they represent Denver’s art scene in the national stages of the competition!

A national panel of judges will deliberate between December 9th – 12th and will determine a national and final category winner to be announced on December 16th!  City winners will be scored through a national panel of judges who will then determine who the #1 Artist from each of the 9 categories is from the Nation at large. The winner will then go to LA and perform at the national RAWards Showcase on January 19th at Exchange LA! For more information on the National Showcase click here!

The 2013 Fashion Designer of the Year, Gabriella Martinez, and the 2013 Accessories of the Year, Iklektic Jewelry, will be showcasing their work at our Fashion Denver Holiday Market THIS SUNDAY!
