May 24th 2014, Knew Conscious presents “Alien Life: The Second Coming”, a fashion show featuring local and national fashion designers. This is the second annual fashion show featuring designs inspired by the art of Denver digital artist Kurt Redeker’s artwork featuring alien beings.

Kurt Redeker is a digital artist based in Denver, Colorado. Redeker is a student of geometric patternmaking, taking cues from Islamic, Mayan and Aztec art and imagery. His art is heavily influenced by sacred geometry, the ancient study of the fundamental patterns of life, the oldest math known to man. By studying the structure of these images and their geometric relationship to one another, his art seeks to gain insight into the aesthetic and scientific laws of the universe. By manipulating pattern and color to create movement within a static medium, Redeker endeavors to communicate a portal to life; he believes that his art taps into the healing power of universal vibration and engages a visionary consciousness in the viewer.
Knew Conscious Gallery produces exhibitions of interdisciplinary contemporary art, Located in the heart of Denver’s fast growing RiNo Art District, the gallery represents a concentration of regional, national and international artists committed to introducing compelling work. Working within their own stylistic visual vernacular, the work represented purposefully addresses a broad range of perceptual and contextual concerns. Beyond an initial visceral experience, Knew Conscious Gallery features work of artists or authenticity and culturally relevant vision.
