Fashion Denver is excited to bring you the holiday edition of Fashion Camp filled to the brim with holiday cheer. For this fashion camp, all of our campers will receive their own Fashion Design Kit that has all the materials they will need for a day of creativity and design. This camp is designed for kiddos between the ages of 5-11 who love to create, love fashion, and want to play in the world of fashion!
This fashion camp is inspired by a fashion show that I co-produced in 2007 called The Fashion Project. For one of the fashion challenges, each of the designers received the exact same materials to design with. The outcome was incredible!
We’ll be taking this concept and the creativity will fly as our campers go to work on their designs, learning how to make a simple no-sew dress. create fringe and use other creative materials to design their outfits.
We’ll have special guests from the original 2007 Fashion Project including designers that will share their fun fashion design techniques and models who will show our campers how to walk the runway.We’ll be working with artist Cindy Applehans who will lead our campers on an artistic adventure as they paint their canvas that will become their outfit. Local hair and makeup stylists will be there to make our campers, fashion show ready!
