No Fear Here
Last week at Fashion Denver we had the pleasure of speaking with Brian Scoop Nemeth, a local designer that could be summed up by two words: inspiring and courageous.
Brian is a young man who, in spite of having Aspergers/Autism, is giving it his all when it comes to becoming a designer. He has researched his market, sketched out several design and has utilized a seamstress to create his first sample, all of which has led up to a little number called the ONEderkini (wonder kini).
The ONEderkini is a bathing suit that combines comfort and support with a touch of skin showing. Like the ONEderkini, Brian is inspirational and original. He is a great example for all who are aspiring to do something great; each one of us has individual obstacles but it is important to give it 100% when trying to do what you and love what you do. Buffalo Exchange Cross Walk-Off
Buffalo Exchange (51 Broadway location) will be hosting its 2nd annual Crosswalk Walk-Off on Friday June 20th to kick off Pride on S Broadway. Kings, Queens, and fabulous people will compete for prizes as they use the traffic lights and crosswalk as a runway.
The event starts at 7pm and is roughly 45 min – 1.5 hour depending on the number of competitors. DJ, water, and popsicles provided.
Fashion show and after party at Compound Basix with special guest DJ Garth from Greyhound and Wicked crew. No cover charge 10PM

10 reasons to make a SPLASH
Join Fashion Denver and 20 local designers on Sunday, July 20th at the Rooster & Moon parking lot for our summer fashion market SPLASH! This event is free & open to the public.
1) We LOVE our Golden Triangle neighborhood and especially LOVE Rooster & Moon (where our market will be held in their parking lot). SPLASH is conveniently located off of Bannock and Speer with plenty of parking and right off of the bicycle path.
2) This outdoor summer mini fashion market revolves around a select group of designers for an intimate shopping experience.
3) Shoppers will be able to meet the designers as we interview them on our stage. Designers will have a chance to showcase their favorite s in their collection or even do a fashion demo!
4) We’re having a FASHION PARADE! Hair and makeup will be done at Studio Salon a block away so what a perfect opportunity to parade down Bannock Street with our models. We’ve always loved a good parade!
