My name is Stephanie Rowe and I am a Colorado native now residing in the Denver area. I recently graduated from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in marketing. I played for the University of New Mexico women’s soccer team all four years and moved to Denver after graduation to pursue a fashion career in the city that I love.
I am currently working on my MBA at the University of Colorado – Denver. In my free time you can find me hiking, attending farmer’s markets, roaming the streets of Denver, doing DIY projects or shopping at adorable boutiques. My month long backpacking trip through Europe left me with a passion to see the world and experience all it has to offer. I like to incorporate different cultures into my everyday attire, but feel best in a chic black outfit. I pride myself in my ability to combine inexpensive items with high-end designer pieces to make a cohesive and elegant look.
My internship at Fashion Denver will have me attending and blogging about the trendiest Fashion events that Denver has to offer, and allows me to unite local designers so that … Read more!
I first met Maura Gramzinski, brains behind Red Camper, in 2005. I had just moved back from San Diego to my home state of Colorado and had just begun to produce our Fashion Denver fashion markets. At the time, I was still making my b.shigley designs handbags. Through the creative Denver community our worlds came together. I was a huge fan of Maura’s work. She designs bags that are made of old slides. (See bags and read the story here).
Flash forward to last week when I saw a blog post featuring one of my favorite tiny towns in Colorado, Silver Plume! There, in Martha Stewart’s blog , was a blip about Red Camper, only it wasn’t the handbag Red Camper, I knew… it was a brand new endeavor! Delicious Jams!
Flash forward to yesterday when we took our dog to the dog park and stopped by the Farmer’s Market only to get to see the latest Red Camper endeavor in action with delicious Picnic Supplies!
Maura, you are an amazing inspiring Denver entrepreneur and we just love all that you do!
This came across our desk! Let’s continue to show the world what talent we have here! Colorado designers on previous Project Runways have been Gretchen Jones, Julie Tierney, Fallene Wells, and Mondo Guerra.

Last weekend, Fashion Denver had some exciting opportunities that kept us busy and full of joy.
We started it all out on Thursday when we went to Flat Irons Crossing shopping center and got to style some mannequins at Old Navy for their Blogger Night event. The next evening was the main event and we enjoyed connecting with other local bloggers, as well as hanging out the staff and shoppers at Old Navy. Some of the lovely bloggers we met were Krystabell Barrera of kitschybelle.com, Ana Kondenko of leprocrastinista.com, Dana Lynch of elementsofimage.com, Nicole Dominic hellolovedenver.com and worthwhilestyle.com, and Lonza Dennis of firstclassfashionista.com.
After arriving back in town on Friday night, we headed over to Civic Center Park to experience Denver Night! The atmosphere was light and carefree. There were glowing blue circles on the ground that lit-up to a rainbow of colors when they were jumped on. There were also tunnels of growing greens for people to “graze” on. It was sort of like a fun community salad. While we were there we enjoyed listening to the Denver Symphony Orchestra play, as well as a set from two of the members of the band … Read more!
