Denver Fashion Designer, Brooks Luby, Breast Cancer Survivor to Showcase Holiday 2018 Collection

October 8, 2018 – Brooks Luby has been designing clothes for over four decades. She has always had a flare for style, daring to test the waters with colors and patterns, and giving women a custom design and fit that is unique to them. In 1990, clothes and the meaning behind them took a new meaning. Brooks (her professional name), was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier that year became more determined than ever to work with women and their curves and make them feel beautiful in their own skin.

Brooks at the time of her diagnosis became friends with another Denver fashion icon, Sue Miller. Miller had started Colorado’s first breast cancer organization seven years before to give survivors a place and faces to talk to. Brooks like many survivors was private in sharing her diagnosis, but that didn’t stop her from celebrating life instead of fearing it.

Phoenix Rising: A donation drive and celebration for the Second Chance Center

Bradley Allen Apparel and Fashion Denver come together to celebrate Second Chance Center, helping formerly incarcerated people transition to lives of success and fulfillment. This event is created for the community of the SCC and we would love to invite the public to come out and celebrate second chances with us!

DONATION DRIVE: From 11am-2pm, the public is invited to drop off clothing and household donations for men, women and children. If you are unable to donate during our drop off, you can drop off items at our headquarters at Green Spaces, located at 2590 Walnut Street!
