Summer’s Last Splash, Fall’s First Layer

☀️🎒 Even though the temps are still toasty, there’s no denying that back-to-school energy is in the air. August always feels like that magical in-between—summer fun still going strong, but hints of fall just around the corner.

At Fashion Denver, we love this season because it’s all about layering and versatility. Think sundresses paired with light denim jackets, sandals swapped for sneakers, and breezy tops that transition easily once the sun sets. Students (and adults alike!) are pulling together outfits that balance comfort in the heat while nodding toward the cozier styles waiting for us in September.

This is also the time when Denver designers shine—creating looks that are functional, sustainable, and full of personality. From upcycled denim to statement accessories, our community knows how to make the “in-between season” fashion-forward.

So whether you’re shopping for new school-year staples, refreshing your work wardrobe, or just finding creative ways to remix your summer favorites, remember: fashion is all about expression, and this is the perfect season to play. 🍂👟👗… Read more!
