ReUP will feature a plethora of eco-friendly designers and small businesses, 3 fashion shows happening at 1, 3 & 5pm, and fun activities in between.  This event is free and open to the public.

FEATURED BUSINESSES:

Some of the activities throughout the day will include interviews with our featured businesses,  delicious food samplings from Protein Bar, a chance to win a “Treat-Yo-Self care package from Shelley Hunter Hillesheim, This event is also a benefit for the Denver Rescue Mission and we’ll be collecting warm clothes, canned foods, and hygiene products.

2) Mission of business.

My mission at Morganic Designs is to bring attention to the positive impacts of consciously crafted fashion, by remaining completely transparent about all aspects of how I operate my business. I know that by being aware & sharing my efforts to create a socially & environmentally friendly business, I can help fashionistas everywhere make more responsible decisions when investing in their wardrobe, & ultimately encourage future designers to consider how they can also build a sustainable brand.

3) How is your product  / services helping the world be more green or sustainably conscious? 

All of my designs are created using environmentally friendly & socially conscious materials, such as organic hemp & bamboo cord, certified fair trade gems & stones, as well as vintage & heirloom pieces from salvaged jewelry, & I always seek out local jewelry suppliers when I need other jewelry components. A portion of my profits are used to make financial contributions to non-profit organizations that have a positive impact on the world around us.  3) How is your product  / services helping the world be more green or sustainably conscious? 

It has always been a goal of ours to be environmentally conscious. We strive to be green and will continue to do more.  Here are some of the things that we currently do:

• We avoid toxic processes such as plating – all of our jewelry is solid sterling silver, brass or gold

• All castings are made right here in Colorado from 100% recycled metals

• All chains, clasps and jump rings are made in the U.S. from recycled metals

• Our glass beads are ethically sourced and handmade in the Czech Republic

• We avoid using stones in our collections because they are non-renewable and non-recyclable

• We recycle every bit of scrap metal

• All packaging and other materials that cannot be reused are recycled
