The Steamed 2 Gallery Exhibit will open on March 21st with an Open House from 4-7pm.

Brooks LTD Featured in Breast Cancer Survivor Fashion Show 

March 5, 2014, Denver Colorado, Brooks LTD a local fashion designer will be featured in the Sue Miller Day of Caring’ s An Evening of Caring Survivor Fashion Show with eleven of thirty looks. Brooks Luby, owner of Brooks LTD, is a 24-year breast cancer survivor and a longtime breast cancer advocate.

Brooks has been a visionary for the Denver fashion industry since the late 1970s; her artistic details, couture finishes, and ability to manipulate fabric all contribute to the strength in her collection. She will highlight looks from her spring collection, including luxurious fabrics, interesting combinations of texture and color, and of course, impeccable fit. There is a unique, happy, and whimsical feel in all of her garments.

Brooks believes that the process of creating a gown can transform an individual. “ I am honored to be a part of An Evening of Caring, and present my spring collection, which was based around the emotions coming through breast cancer,” Brooks said.  “This issue is very close to my heart, and to provide survivors with beautiful gala gowns to wear for this show means a lot to me.”

Fresh New Fashion Comes to South Gaylord Street with the Grand Opening of Wish Boutique

Wish BoutiqueJoin fun and  fashionable Wish Boutique (1099 South Gaylord Street, Denver)  as they celebrate the grand opening March 8th and 9th, from 11 AM to 5 PM both days.  With Parisian-style fashion shows from 1 PM to 4 PM all weekend, everyone is invited to come experience the new Wish fashions as they hit the runway.

The event will also feature gift bags for the first 20 visitors, prize drawings, snacks, and bubbly to sip.  With the fun-filled opening events, the grand opening of Wish Boutique in the South Gaylord neighborhood of Denver launches a whole new sort of style for the area.

For boutique owner Lisa Figlino, the grand opening of Wish Boutique marks 10 years as Denver entrepreneur, as well as a chance to show a whole new side of her style.  Figlino previously owned and operated the award-winning Pine Creek Clothing Co. in the same South Gaylord location, and this year decided to give the shop space a total makeover and re-launch as hip new Wish Boutique.
