We are working with 2 fashion organizations that are both looking for volunteers for upcoming events! See the information below…

Fashion Denver Volunteer OpportunitiesTHE SEVENTH GUILT
THE MARKET A DENVER PLACE (indoor fashion & craft market)
January 23RD, 10-4PM

The Seventh Guilt is looking for someone to help with an event this week. The Tour de Fashion Truck and The Seventh Guilt are collaborating on the 23rd this Thursday!We are looking for someone who has an interest in fashion and prior experience working a vendor booth. You must be available on both the 22nd this Wednesday from 12-5 and Thursday the 23rd (event day) from 8am – 6pm.

You should have your own transportation and be able to commit to both days.

We need help setting up, drawing customers to our booth and breaking everything down.

BENEFITS:

You will learn a little about what goes on behind the scenes at The Seventh Guilt, receive a signature t-shirt and lunch. There may be opportunities for future events depending on your work and interest.

Westword’s first Whiteout, a celebration of this city’s hottest designers on one of the coldest nights of the year, was the surprise hit of the 2013 fashion season, and our second annual Whiteout event will be bigger and even better. On Thursday, January 30, Whiteout will fill the McNichols Building with the town’s most creative designers in fashion, hair and even flowers; the evening will feature live music, specialty vendors, classic cocktails and a signature runway event.

Our fashion group CATWALK is putting together our annual fashion show DiverCity this spring and we are interested in your work!!! You may have heard of our show or participated in it in the past, this year it will be at the Forney Museum of Transportation (http://www.forneymuseum.org/) on April 4th. This would be an amazing opportunity for exposure of your brand as well as a new collection you may be currently working on or recently completed.  This year we are also working with Clothes to Kids (http://clothestokidsdenver.org/)  a non-profit here in Denver that works with families below the poverty line to provide their children with clothing, at no cost to the families.  Not only will we will have a few of these amazing kids from Clothes to Kids as models but we would also like to give you the opportunity/option to also design an up-cycled piece(s) of your choice, a scarf, dress, blanket, ect… with the unusable clothing from Clothes to Kids, that … Read more!
