Tease Studio celebrates 5 years and puts fun back into fitness

Tease-Studio, now located at 1070 Bannock Street in the heart of the Golden Triangle, is holding an open house Friday, August 3rd, 2012 from 4pm-7pm to celebrate their new location and to give everyone a sample of different classes offered by the studio so that everyone can get a taste of Tease and the Denver Cupcake truck.

“I definitely made my assumptions about pole fitness and Tease Studio and all of those assumptions immediately went away when I took my first class. The instructors and fellow students made me feel welcome and really put the fun back into my boring exercise routine,” says Amy Rosenberg, a regular at Tease.

Tease Studio is for everyone from students, doctors, lawyers, to mothers that offers fitness with a social scene.  Tease Studio offers classes that put a fun, exciting twist on exercise. Synopsis

In RUBY SPARKS, Calvin (Paul Dano) is a young novelist who achieved phenomenal success early in his career but is now struggling with his writing — as well as his romantic life. Finally, he makes a breakthrough and creates a character named Ruby who inspires him.  When Calvin finds Ruby (Zoe Kazan), in the flesh, sitting on his couch about a week later, he is completely flabbergasted that his words have turned into a living, breathing person.

MPAA Rating:    Rated R for language including some sexual references, and for some drug use.

ATHENA PROJECT ANNOUNCES A DESIGN COMPETITION
for fashion designers, costume designers, and students


Deadline for Submissions is August 10, 2012

Competition Details: Have you ever wanted to design the costumes for a play? Wanted the opportunity to bring an original script to life with your vision to costume the characters for the director, producer and playwright? Here is your chance!

Athena Project is seeking initial fashion designs inspired by the message: “VOICES of WOMEN ARTISTS.” Designs can be clothing or accessory items and sketches on 8.5 x 11 paper are all that’s required by August 10, 2012.

Out of the initial sketch submissions, six artists will be selected as semi-finalists. These six will be interviewed and asked to bring in at least 3 samples of a finished design product along with their portfolio at that time.

One designer will be selected as the winner, and will be given both a mentorship and studio space to develop their Athena design for a special showcase at Colorado Fashion Week, Fall of 2012.  The designer will also consult on costume designs for the winning play of Athena Project’s Plays In Progress Series, which will be presented in March 2013 at the Athena … Read more!

This came across our inbox and we wanted to share with you! We’ve worked very closely on several projects with photographer Kelly Shroads and she is amazing. If you are looking to get some portfolio shots, this is an amazing opportunity!!

Call for Models

Seeking 2 Female Models Ages 18 – 30, diverse range of skin tones. Flexible with age range.

Purpose of the Shoot: Portfolio photographs for Angela Alonzo Makeup Artistry and Arcatus Jewelry. Photos to be featured on websites of both businesses.

Shoot Location: TBA – Metro Denver Area/Outdoors
Shoot Date: Monday, July 16th, 2012
Shoot Time: 4-8 PM
Shoot Details: Models will be shot from the bare shoulders and collarbone up for close collarbone/shoulder/face shots. No wardrobe or hair requirements. Hair can be pulled back. Makeup to be provided by Angela and the shoot features two to three looks per model.
Shoot will also feature a variety of bright neon lips and colors complimenting a new line of bold, metallic jewelry pieces designed by Arcatus Jewelry.
