Balaam Design at Bounce!

Just six days until Bounce! Fashion Denver’s Summer Market on Sunday, June 3rd!  This event will be located at the Grant- Humphreys Mansion at 770 Pennsylvania Street Denver, CO 80203.  Here you will be able to view Balaam Designs by Monica Zamora, the daughter of a wedding dress and jewelry designer in Mexico.  Balaam Designs are inspired by their fascination with the Mayan and other Mexican cultures.  Semi-precious stones, sterling silver, along with silk, fabrics and multi-colored ribbons are created into jewels that are inspired by the spirituality, culture, and architecture of the region.  Yet, the transparency of the waters, texture of the sand, and the variety of colors from the jungles are a vision in the designs.

Balaam Designs are everyday pieces that are made of quality and durability.  The limited edition lines of unique rings, matchless bracelets, unusual earrings and necklaces in combinations of colors and variety of forms and textures are designed in the Denver, Colorado studio.… Read more!

Fashion Denver’s summer market BOUNCE! is almost here!  On June 3rd, you will be able to check out Colorado designer Rae Marie who launcher her label in 2010 and opened her studio in 2011.  This lifestyle collection is sexy, edgy and chic that calls attention to the vibrant and colorful apparel built-into the assortment.  Rae Marie designs are created for a day at work, a wonderful party or just a casual day around the city so there is going to be something that catches your eye.  There is a mix of layering pieces, bold prints and distinctive silhouettes.

The Fashion House of Rae Marie is on its way to becoming a major influence in the industry.  Earlier this year, Rae Marie’s growing following led her to the opportunity to show her collection at Mercedes Benz Fashion week in New York sponsored by Diet Pepsi.  This opportunity gave Rae Marie the chance of being mentored by Simon Doonan, the creative director at Barney’s New … Read more!

SF Adventure and fashion on the streets!

Back from our trip to San Francisco, we caught lots of fashion on the street! Here are just a few of what I saw. More in store!

This photo is taken while waiting in line to eat at the delicious Dottie’s restaurant!  This couple met 40 years ago and live in Thailand.  He’s a retired surgeon and she is a fashionable woman who loves the culture of San Francisco!

These 2 are new friends. The one on the left actively brands the Tenderloin District while Laura loves science and fashion.

This is Fefe, French rapper who was in town recording an album with Dan the Automator. After the bar closed and the Mission was empty, I snapped this photo after speaking French with Fefe for a long time.
