Ruby + George & Mukee at Fashion Denver’s summer market Bounce!

While browsing the designer’s collections at Bounce! Fashion Denver’s Summer Market; make sure to look out for Ruby + George and Mukee.  They will be show casing items from their online collections of modern American West adornment for self and home.

Ruby + George made their debut at New York’s Spring’s Fashion Week 2012 sponsoring Gretchen Jones, previous winner of Project Runway, with heirloom jewelry.  The jewelry was enthusiastically received by Lucky Magazine, Women’s Wear Daily, and Refinery29.

At Fashion Denver’s Summer Market, you will be able to find a mix of authentic Southwestern American Indian items, heirloom decor, and original art.  Each genuine piece is cultural and historical and relates to current fashion.  Discover vintage rugs, statues, and apparel this Sunday.

MuKee

The designer of MuKee will be present on Sunday, June 3rd to platform his accessories at Bounce! The cool concept behind these designs is that the pieces are handmade from reclaimed skateboards.  MuKee gives new life to old skateboards through creating earrings, belt buckles, and necklaces out of them.

Just six days until Bounce! Fashion Denver’s Summer Market on Sunday, June 3rd!  This event will be located at the Grant- Humphreys Mansion at 770 Pennsylvania Street Denver, CO 80203.  Here you will be able to view Balaam Designs by Monica Zamora, the daughter of a wedding dress and jewelry designer in Mexico.  Balaam Designs are inspired by their fascination with the Mayan and other Mexican cultures.  Semi-precious stones, sterling silver, along with silk, fabrics and multi-colored ribbons are created into jewels that are inspired by the spirituality, culture, and architecture of the region.  Yet, the transparency of the waters, texture of the sand, and the variety of colors from the jungles are a vision in the designs.

At the mansion you’ll be able to view the designs of Jessica Perdue. This jewelry and accessories designer creates pieces that are modern and trendy. Her designs are also inspired by vintage styles with a Native American charm.

Jessica’s expert leatherwork derives from her father who was a leatherworker that owned a leather shop specializing in jewelry and accessories in the 1970’s and 80’s. J Perdue Designs incorporates recycled and new genuine leather into her pieces. She enjoys taking apart old belts, outdated jewelry and beaded jewels to make brand new designs with a whole new character.
