Fashion Denver’s summer market BOUNCE! is almost here!  On June 3rd, you will be able to check out Colorado designer Rae Marie who launcher her label in 2010 and opened her studio in 2011.  This lifestyle collection is sexy, edgy and chic that calls attention to the vibrant and colorful apparel built-into the assortment.  Rae Marie designs are created for a day at work, a wonderful party or just a casual day around the city so there is going to be something that catches your eye.  There is a mix of layering pieces, bold prints and distinctive silhouettes.

The Fashion House of Rae Marie is on its way to becoming a major influence in the industry.  Earlier this year, Rae Marie’s growing following led her to the opportunity to show her collection at Mercedes Benz Fashion week in New York sponsored by Diet Pepsi.  This opportunity gave Rae Marie the chance of being mentored by Simon Doonan, the creative director at Barney’s New York.  The runway collection was inspired by animal prints, the silver appeal of the Diet Pepsi can and some avant garde pieces for dramatic looks.

Apparel by Rae Marie will have you standing out in the crowd.  Soon her collections will be presented in more boutiques along with a plus-size line.  Her pieces can be purchased at http://www.ustrendy.com/store/fashions-house-of-rae-marie

Another designer whose collection to look forward to viewing is Francis Roces of KimonoDragons.  Francis Roces is a menswear and womenswear designer whose clothing features an Asian flare, retro sense and a modern twist.  KimonoDragons apparel offers a ready-to-wear approach with couture receptivity.  You can easily see Roces’ inspiration of Asian fiction and Sci-fi movies in his apparel.

KimonoDragons prefers to be sustainable by only purchasing just enough fabric to create each article of clothing.  This helps to reduce waste.  Also, the menswear is made from salvaged clothing and made into new, innovative pieces.

Francis Roces designs for every woman and has won local Denver awards.  KimonoDragons clothing can be purchased at local Denver boutiques such as Kitty Mae Boutique, Creme de la Couture, and New Culture Boutique.
