Fashion Forward and Eco Friendly; Shops on S. Broadway

Do you want to be fashion-forward and eco friendly? The shops on South Broadway have got you covered! The fashion industry produces thirteen million tons of textile waste every year. 95% of that waste could be reused or recycled. You can help support your local fashion industry by shopping at equally eco-friendly and fashionable shops such as La Lovely Vintage, Sewn, Decade and more all located on South Broadway in Denver.
(please note all images are taken from the companies websites).

La Lovely Vintage follows the premise of adorable clothes that are also kind to the earth. Fashion trends historically have a tendency to recycle  themselves, so vintage is a great way to stay fashionable. The owner of La Lovely Vintage, Tara Lavato, travels all over the United States finding cute vintage pieces for her boutique. So not only can you find hand picked trendy clothing, you are helping reuse and recycle by purchasing something vintage.

Sewn is another adorable boutique that gives you a variety of eco friendly and trendy options. Sewn consists of three main clothing divisions, hand made, upcycled, and vintage. Each of these sections helps reduce waste and support mother nature. Sewn also sells vintage Read more!

Mona Lucero and the Inspiring Winds of Change

You have to evolve and follow the trends,”  says Mona.

Culture is among one of the ever changing aspects of the modern world , especially in fashion. WranglerXPeterMax Collaboration Comes to Denver

WranglerXPeterMax Collaboration
Park Meadows Mall
Now through early 2018

For as long as I can remember, Wrangler has always been that go-to company for quality jeans that will last, pretty much forever. My dad grew up on a farm and wore his Wranglers. I remember as a kid hanging out with my dad in the garage as we’d work on cars, and he’d be in his Wranglers, still… years later!

Flash forward to 2017 when the brand that’s been forever strong, collaborates with pop artist Peter Max!   For those of you who don’t know who Peter Max is, we’re pretty sure you’ve seen his artwork. He is the master of the psychedelic print! To celebrate both the 70’s anniversary of Wrangler and the ‘Summer of Love’s 50th, this collaboration was created! The first collaboration with Max was in the early 70’s and this current collaboration still has the same boldly colorful, upbeat feel.

It was so much fun to get to experience and learn more about this collaboration when I stopped by the Park Meadows store. What I absolutely LOVE about all of the styles of this collab is the old school flavor, pop of colors and the way that … Read more!
