Fashion Camp Wrap Up!

What an amazing fashion camp we had in early December! Here are some of our photos of our campers as they learned what it takes to be an eco-fashion designer with Deb Henriksen, how to make a fashion magazine with Denver Style Magazine’s Heather Okimoto, and how to take an ol’ tee and turn it into something beautiful with Seraphina Mesmer!

Our next camp is scheduled for March 19th and 20th! Stay tuned for details!

Fashion Denver’s Fashion Camp is back and this time, it’s revolving around eco-fashion!

In this installment of Fashion Camp, we’ll be doing the following fashion activities:

Learn the ins and outs of being a fashion designer from Colorado eco-designer Deb Henriksen of Equilibrium!

♥ Making a dress / skirt / accessories from an old t-shirt!  No sewing required. Taught by Saraphina Mesmer. I first took Sara’s workshop 10 years ago and it truly taught me how to look at repurposing clothes in a really fun way! I’m excited to have her teach these young fashionistas!

oldtees♥ Working with fellow campers to create a mini fashion magazine

  • Cutting fashion clips out of magazines
  • Writing a fashion article
  • Doing a fashion interview with a fellow camper
