Join the community for a 2 day of celebrating everything Gary Lee loved! Kicking off the event on Friday September 16th at 8pm we have Pretty Mouth and the Trade-Ins! Saturday we begin the festivities with the surf rock sounds of the Royal Aces, followed by a pin up fashion show put on by Equillibrium, and a pompadour and pin up hair contest with competing salons. After that we have the ridiculous shenanigans of the band Gravity Tapes. Around 6pm there will be a live auction (as well as a silent auction that runs through the day) with some very rare Gary Lee creations all benefiting Max Fund. Everyone knows how Gary loved his dog Clarence, who will also make an appearance. And closing, the have a DOUBLE HEADLINER with Kerry Pastine and the Crime Scene and the Nuns of Brixton.

This will be an annual event, so don’t miss the FIRST EVER Gary Lee Days!

INDIEGOGO COVER PHOTO-1

Envisioned and dreamed into life by Rebecca Taylor (fashion designer) and Sarah Hidey (international development consultant)—two good friends with a common vision of empowering women—TRIBE has a mission to provide opportunities to women around the world through the provision of job skills and ethical employment in the fashion industry. Specifically, TRIBE plans to partner with fair-trade nonprofits and sewing studios to employ women with barriers to employment both in the United States, and, eventually, in Cambodia.

Our brand can be summed up in three phrases:

Locally Designed: The co-founders of TRIBE are Denver residents. Designed by Rebecca Taylor, TRIBE’s collection has classic and modern styles that women of all ages will adore. TRIBE partners with local social enterprises, such as We Made This (employing refugees) and Sox Place Screen Printing (employing homeless youth) for the production of select items. Other partnerships are in development.

As the models walked down the runway representing and owning the native threads from different countries all over Africa including: Rwanda, Uganda, Nigeria, etc., there was an incredible sense of heart and passion that included the audience. In a way, this was more than a fashion show. This was a representation. A representation of how influential and important all cultures Read more!
