Cherry Creek North to Dazzle Fashionistas at Inaugural Celebration of Fashion

DENVER – For the first time ever, Cherry Creek North is kicking off Fashion Week in a big way! On the evening of September 6th, style lovers will whet their appetites with the latest fall fashions at in-store events throughout Cherry Creek North, followed by a spectacular runway fashion show on Fillmore Plaza featuring Cherry Creek North boutiques.

Cherry Creek North stores are pulling out all the stops in preparation for this big night in fashion by planning fabulous, free in-store events from 6 – 8pm.  Guests can expect everything from trunk shows to mini fashion shows to complimentary services, giveaways, and more. Nearly 40 stores are participating, and the event details can be found at CherryCreekNorth.com.

Immediately following the in-store events, there will be a thrilling 88-foot long runway fashion show on Fillmore Plaza. A Summer Night to Remember fashion show will be held at the Denver Botanical Gardens on Sunday, June 24th, 2012.  The location is at 909 York Street Denver, Colorado 80206 and hosted by For The Perfect You Apparel.  100% of the proceeds will be donated to The Rocky Mountain Skin Cancer Foundation.  While being introduced to local designers such as Kimono Dragons, Gabriela Designs, The Men’s Wearhouse and designs from For The Perfect You Apparel, please try and help The Rocky Mountain Skin Cancer Foundation reach its goal of $10,000.  Purchase tickets at http://holdmyticket.com/event/113054 or donate to http://www.ftpy.org.

Another amazing event night organized by the fabulous Summer Jackson!

Calling all creative individuals! Creative to Bless (C2B) has partnered with Bender’s Tavern to provide CREATIVE event platforms for local musicians, designers and artists, to network and gain exposure. The events are fun colorful and intended to breakdown the interactive boundaries most face when showcasing or networking their creativity. Come out to one event and you will be hooked. We promise great local music by DJ Parris, cool local art, dancing and an excuse to dress up.

Optional Alphabet Costume Party: The letter is “R”, please arrive in a costume that starts with that letter (Google costumes that start with “R” for ideas).

The best creative “R” costume will win a prize.

Who: The World Trade Center Denver’s premier gala kicks off World Trade Week on the evening of May16th with stunning contemporary fashions from local and international designers.  Runway models will showcase the fashions in an unconventional catwalk show through the audience.  The following designers are confirmed for the event:

WHAT: The gala, which will include a formal dinner and silent auction, will highlight international fashion talent among other entertainment at this Oscar-like evening event.  Limos will shuttle guests to the red carpet of the event center, where they will be greeted with paparazzi cameras, a press wall, and a champagne reception.

When: Lights, cameras, action will begin at 5:30 PM and conclude at 10:30 PM, the program will begin at 7:00 PM.
