“FESTIVAL OF COLOR”  FASHION SHOW
ON FRIDAY AUGUST 24, 2018

Festival of Color is a musical fashion show immersion experience, Latin style, to be held at the Doubletree Hotel Grand Ballroom located at 3203 Quebec St. Denver, CO 80207.

Doors open at 5:30pm with grand show at 7:30pm.
Tickets are available from $15

JAnthony Productions presents a musical fashion show immersion experience with community partners, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Rivera Fashion by Juanita Cardenas, Estrella TV Denver, Que Bueno radio, Mi Pueblo Market, Land4Printing, Mango Mortgage Corp, and more.

In its fourth iteration for 2018, JAnthony and his team have been part of several fashion shows to give rise to Denver´s most talented designers, performers, and models in Colorado and beyond.

This year´s theme, A Celebration of Life – Latin Style, will bring a Spanglish twist to the show.Over 120 models, 50+ hair and makeup artists, 12 designers, 400+ family/friends/fans, 40+ performers/artists, and 20+ volunteers that make up the excitement-packed evening. Models, performers, and hosts will take to the longest runway stage for a show of this kind.

Recently our intern, Maddy conducted an interview with Serana Rose, fashion designer and fashion event producer for her upcoming show happening April 1st. See what makes this designer tick, learn about her inspirations and drive and get to know this amazingly colorful and talented designer!

What sparked your love for fashion?

Growing up on a fiber farm, textiles have always been a natural medium for me. As a teenager, I wanted to wear the most fabulous clothes, so I began making them myself. With my mom’s help, I put together all of my formal dance dresses, made most of my every day clothes, and even did 2 runway shows in the HS talent show. I have costumed many people since, designed logos for band shirts and fliers, and made many circus freaks’ stage costumes. Born Ugli fashion is an attempt to pull beauty out of overlooked places and dress in an “out of the ordinary” manner. My friend once told me to “be worth looking at”, so when planning costumes, I want them to look like royalty…keeping in mind that the circus … Read more!

Denver Fashion Week March 18-25th

DENVER, COLORADO – This spring, Denver can officially say it has its own fashion week. Formerly known as Denver Fashion Weekend, 303 Magazine is happy to announce that it is launching Denver Fashion Week (DFW) on March 18-25. In addition, DFW is proud to say it is now partnering with Denver Arts & Venues, Visit Denver, Denver Art Museum and The Paper Fashion Show in an effort to grow the event.

“We recognize Denver Fashion Week as a well-primed step in supporting our fast-growing fashion industry in Denver and Colorado. Justin Great Season 2 Release

January 20, 2018 – Is it good? Well it’s never good enough for Justin Great. The energy was sky high on Friday night as people flooded into the Justin Great Season 2 Launch Party. Hosted at Urban Mix in Denver, the party was bound to come alive with food, drinks, music, dancing, and fashion.

New to the Denver scene but not a rookie when it comes to the fashion scene, Justin wanted to leave his mark with his newest line. The main style idea his clothing reflects is streetwear. I was initially intrigued by this because I’m quite invested in the streetwear culture myself. Not only this, but streetwear isn’t as prominent in Denver as it is in New York or LA – places Justin has worked before. The unique ideas surrounding streetwear create shifts in culture and allow people to be creative and open when it comes to expressing their style. Streetwear normally aims at both comfort and individuality – an appealing combination to many people interested in the realm of fashion. It is continually evolving and new concepts are introduced regularly to allow a diverse style to come to life.
