Studio Yanagi
In some traditions the willow has long been regarded as a powerful symbol for dreams and intuition, which is why Matt Gushee, of Studio Yanagi decided to use it as the symbol for his company. Yanagi is the Japanese name for the willow tree, which inspires Gushee’s intuitive and spontaneous design process. Designs from Studio Yanagi will be featured this Sunday on June 3rd at Fashion Denver’s Summer Market Bounce! at the Grant-Humphreys Mansion.
In Gushee’s jewels, you can see his inspiration of early-20th-century architectural motifs, spiritual symbolism, plants and animals. His fascination of spirals is also apparent in his collection. There are a variety of metals and stones that are incorporated into the pieces of Studio Yanagi, such as sterling silver, copper, amethyst and agate. You can purchase Studio Yanagi jewelry at its Etsy shop:http://www.etsy.com/shop/studioyanagi. Be sure to also check out Studio Yanagi’s collection of earrings, bracelets, and necklaces this Sunday!… Read more!
