Who: Founded in 2001, The Underground Music Showcase (UMS) is the largest indie music festival in the Rocky Mountain region. The annual three-day celebration of music features more than 200 bands across 4 stages and 20 venues

Why: Denver is on its way to becoming a globally recognized music city with locally organized festivals like UMS leading the shift towards more immersive live music events. UMS is the perfect representation of the multiverse of incredibly talented bands from in and around the Denver metro area, showcasing the city’s growing music scene. UMS benefits the Can’d Aid’s TUNES program. This program has donated nearly 1,000 musical instruments to support public school music programs in need. TUNES ambassadors provide hands-on music workshops and performances to underprivileged youth. In partnership with these ambassadors, Can’d Aid provides emerging artists grants to provide critical support as they work to grow their careers.
