DENVER — There’s a reason you call yourself a Coloradan: You love living, working and playing here, whether you’ve been here 30 days or 30 years. COmingle, the History Colorado Center’s new adult-night-out series, will indulge your affinity for our square state. Held from 6 to 9 p.m. on the second Thursday from March through June, each evening features out-of-the-box activities, food and plenty of Colorado spirit (and spirits).
Don your best Colorado proud outfit at CoMingle and join Fashion Denver’s Brandi Shigley for an on-the-fly fashion competition! You’ll be able to strut your Colorado outfit on our mini runway for fabulous prizes from Fashion Denver & History Colorado. Walk the runway at 8pm.
Don’t have any Colorado gear? No need to fret! Denver Fashion Truck is bringing the best of their Colorado goods, designed by local designers and B.Fresh will be on location with their Colorado hats. Fashion fun for the whole family!
- Wear your favorite CO gear (hat, t-shirt… tattoo) for a chance to win Best-Dressed Coloradan.
- Make your own Colorado icon magnet with Denver Public Library’s Fresh City Life.
- Hear a historian’s take on some bizarre Colorado bests, then compete in the Smartest Coloradan trivia game.
- Train with the best ski jumpers, experience the biggest dust storm in Colorado history, and take your circa-1920s yearbook pic.
- Search for state symbols hidden around the exhibits, and then vote for a state food, drink, car and more.
- Add to our art, and pick your favorite place on our giant map of Colorado.
- Snacks, cash bar … time machines!
