Last weekend, I was lucky enough to get to see a sneak-peak preview of MY LITTLE PONY: A NEW GENERATION before it comes out on Netflix September 24th!!!
I don’t have children of my own, but I do know that parents will LOVE watching this movie with their kids! I was delighted to see a movie that a) was fun for all ages, b) was full of adventure c) has life lessons, good and evil, light and dark… I don’t want to give the movie away, so I’ll stop right there!
Besides this just being a fun movie, there are so many fun things to accompany this fun film!!! Where do we even start????

You can stream the soundtrack to the movie with lots of fun songs!!!
And even watch a bunch of fun videos you can sing along to!
If you’re a product of the 80’s (ummm.. definitely me!!) You will be delighted to know that My Little Pony is in a NEW GENERATION and boy is it heartwarming, exciting, fun, and brings back all the feels of childhood. So much so that I want to dig around in my parent’s attic and find my 2 My Little Ponys!
When I was a kid, I’d take them out to the sandbox, put my brother’s GI Joe’s on their back and pretend that they were on wild adventures through desert lands! Here I am, 46 (what the heck?!? where did time go?) and I will ALWAYS have that little imaginative kid in my heart that will NEVER grow up!
Now without much further ado….

THE PLOT
The unimaginable has happened…Equestria has lost its magic! Earth Ponies, Unicorns, and Pegasi are no longer friends and now live separated by species. But idealistic Earth Pony Sunny (Vanessa Hudgens) is determined to find a way to bring enchantment and unity back to their world. Teaming up with open-hearted Unicorn Izzy (Kimiko Glenn), the pair travel to faraway lands where they encounter the likes of charismatic and brave Pegasi Pipp (Sofia Carson) and Zipp (Liza Koshy) and the ever-responsible fellow Earth Pony Hitch (James Marsden). Their mission is full of misadventures, but these new best friends each possess their own unique and special gifts that may be just what this ponyverse needs to restore magic and prove that even little ponies can make a big difference.
