Naked Sewist Debuts Inaugural Men’s Fashion Show in Denver An Evening of Bold Design, Craftsmanship, and Creative Expression

Denver, CO — June  5, 2026 — Emerging fashion brand Naked Sewist is set to host its highly anticipated inaugural men’s fashion show on Friday, June 5, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Void Studios, located at 1790 S Bannock Street in Denver.

“Naked Sewist is about stripping fashion back to its essence—honest construction, intentional design, and personal identity for the contemporary man,” the brand shares. “This show is not just about clothing, but about the process, the maker, and the story each piece tells.”

This debut event marks a significant milestone for Naked Sewist, a brand known for its distinctive approach to handmade garments, thoughtful construction, and a philosophy rooted creating something new for menswear–providing the silhouettes, textures and colors that are missing today.

Guests will experience a runway presentation that will connect runway looks to ready-to-wear pieces that will be available for sale this summer. The evening will also provide an opportunity to connect with the creative vision behind the label and celebrate the artistry of sewing as both a skill and a form of storytelling.

Why Birdy Magazine Matters So Much to Denver’s Creative Community

There are some creative projects that become more than a publication, a platform, or an event. They become part of the cultural fabric of a city.

For me, Birdy Magazine is one of those things and they need our support!

Jonny DeStefano, co-creator of Birdy alongside Krysti Joméi, has been a major force in my creative life since the mid-90s. Long before social media, before websites, before influencer culture and algorithms… there was Denver’s DIY creative scene. And it was electric.

Back then, I was the merch girl for Jonny and his brother Sam’s punk band. That season of life taught me some of the greatest lessons I’ve ever learned about grassroots marketing, community building, promotion, and what it means to truly believe in creativity.

This was before Instagram.
Before Facebook.
Before digital flyers and boosted posts.

We were hanging posters by hand, passing out flyers, talking to people face-to-face, building scenes through real human connection, late-night conversations, zines, music, art, and passion.

Jonny also helped get my own band, B.Sue, up and running. Looking back now, I realize how much those early experiences shaped not only my creative career, but also the heart behind Fashion Denver itself.

Denver Fashion Week 2026: A Week of Fashion That Spanned Genres

For one unforgettable week, Denver Fashion Week transformed the new venue, Furniture Row,  into a world of creativity, storytelling, community, and style.

See Bossi Rossi’s photos from the week here! Please note, more being added!

From sustainable fashion to adaptive design, maximalism to streetwear, mommy-and-me moments to resort-ready swimwear, this season reminded us that fashion is never just about clothing. It’s about identity, artistry, innovation, culture, confidence, and connection.

And this year’s venue brought a whole new energy.

Guests stepped into immersive VIP experiences, explored local restaurant bites between runway shows, posed for red carpet photo opportunities, connected with designers and creatives, and experienced a fashion week that felt larger than life while still deeply rooted in community.

Throughout the week, guests also explored an incredible lineup of local pop-ups featuring artists, makers, boutiques, beauty brands, accessories, and creative businesses that brought even more personality and discovery to the experience. From statement pieces to handcrafted goods, the marketplace energy added another layer of connection between fashion lovers and Denver’s growing creative economy.

Each night was also guided by a dynamic mix of local emcees, community leaders, creatives, and movers-and-shakers who brought their own flavor, humor, energy, and perspective to the … Read more!
