WE WILL LET YOU KNOW ABOUT THE SPRING / SUMMER DATE!

We are so excited to kick off the new year with our 2023 Winter Fashion Camp! Happening Sunday, January 29th 2023 from 10am-4pm, our Fashion Camp will bring all the fun fashion feels to creative kiddos between the ages of 4-11!

Fashion Camp is designed for a hands-on fashion experience where our campers get to create an outfit and accessories using no-sew techniques and by the end of the day, they have a full ensemble that they showcase on the runway!

At every fashion camp, we bring in leaders in our fashion community to lead different activities that get their creativity flowing! Our campers work alongside kids their own age and develop friendships while having fun!

For our next fashion camp, we will be doing the following:

-Hearing from our special fashion guests
-Making a no-sew pillowcase dress or top
-Making a winter scarf to accessorize and stay warm
-Making a burlap handbag or pouch
-Getting hair and makeup done

I find joy in many different things but making people smile brings me the most joy…

Where does your joy come from and what do you do when you feel the darkness begin to creep in?

I find joy in many different things but making people smile brings me the most joy…  think about it, I get paid to entertain and bring some joy to lives when you may be having a bad day…  When I feel darkness I turn to music because it cures all.

Tell us about your tours at Camp Christmas! What can guests of your tours expect?

When you book a Campy Queen tour you are going to be getting a fun-filled tour through all the delicious displays and lights.  We take you on a journey like none other filled with hot cocoa, secret surprises, and a carousel ride.

 



Where do you get your style inspiration from? 

I pull a lot of styles from the 50’s and 60’s.  I love oversized elegance!

Void Studios Upcycle Challenge 3.0

Fashion Industry Night

Friends! Mark your calendars for next Thursday, October 27th from 6pm-9pm as we partner up with Factory Fashion for a fashion industry night at Sky Bar! If you didn’t know, Skye Barker Maa (founder of Factory Fashion) and I (Brandi Shigley) created Sky Bar (along with Patrick McMichael of Track Architecture) this past May! We’ve been wanting to share our beautiful little bar at Stanley Marketplace with our fashion family and open up our doors to connect with different people in the fashion industry. ⁠
