 I was four years old when I did my first runway show for a boutique in Phoenix. I’ve been hooked since.

HOW DID YOU GET INTO THE WORLD OF MODELING? 

My grandmother introduced me to the runway and my mother got me into JCPenney catalogs as a child. So I would say the women in my life.

WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR MOST MEMORABLE MOMENTS IN MODELING THUS FAR?

Traveling to New York City with Megan Summerville was a blessing and a huge opportunity.  It was my first time in the big city.  We were able to help with a big runway show downtown, it was an experience of a lifetime. 

Also being nominated for model of the year 2021 at the black excellence awards in Atlanta was an honor. It was a very emotional experience working hard modeling in the south.

Pajama Rama! A pajama drive for kids and teens in foster care!

IT’S PAJAMA-RAMA TIME!

We have partnered up with the Urban Angels to do some good in our neighborhood! Did you know that at any given time 100 or more children enter the foster care system? These children leave their homes with only the clothes they are wearing or carrying a few items in a plastic bag. We need your help to provide comfort and care to these kids in transition by providing new winter pajamas, hats, and gloves. Our goal is to donate 100+ plus pajamas to the children in the foster system.
Your gift will make their lives a little brighter.
Pajamas can be dropped off at the Fashion Denver HQ at 2265 Lawrence Street across the street from the Denver Rescue Mission Monday-Friday from 9am-6pm. We will then distribute these jammies directly into our foster care system!

Kaci Head announces the launch of her new collection for Fall/Winter 2022 : Out of the Shadows. The Out of the Shadows collection is a line of leather accessories for humans and homes, inspired by the quiet moments in darkness when everything feels safe.

In addition to the collection launch,  Kaci is releasing a special collaboration piece with women’s clothing designer, Brooks Luby. Together, they’ve created limited-edition handbags made from repurposed remnants. Each piece is unique and tells a story of projects from each of our past.

As a creative person sometimes it seems that we ebb and flow in our creativity, feeling the lulls, uninspired, and also feeling the highs of the flow of creativity. Creativity seems to be a constant journey.

Several years ago, I got tapped into the world of CreativeMornings, the %22world’s largest face-to-face creative community.%22 This is a global community with chapters all over the world! Once a month, a different chapter picks the global theme that each chapter will bring to life as a different presenter shares inspiration, wisdom, and experience around the theme of the month!

Activewear Fashion Internship

Golf, tennis and active sports of all kinds are surging in popularity and so is the demand for fashion to wear on the course, courts and streets.  A Denver-based sales representative for several national leading sports brands for women and men is looking for a part-time seasonal intern to assist with preparation, set-up and presentation at upcoming Denver trade shows, October 3-5, 2022 and in February, 2023.

The successful candidate will have a passion for activewear fashion and a willingness to learn the ins and outs of trade shows. The intern will assist with booth set up and teardown, and help present samples to wholesale accounts, including boutique owners, buyers for specialty shops and pro shop merchandisers. Order entry, tracking of customer inquiries, informing customers about product specifics and guiding them through the collections are among the job specifics the intern can also learn.

The internship can be tailored to the individual if it’s for educational credit.
