The Ballpark Collective is looking for 1-3 fashion trucks at their ballpark events! Irish fest is free and open to the public with the St. Patrick’s Day parade to follow on the 14th. These events attract thousands of people spilling over into the three-block party where your fashion truck will be parked.

Opening day is two weeks later and Ballpark Collective is looking for 1-3 trucks then as well!

Attention vintage collectors, dealers, and pop ups!  We have an amazing opportunity for you! We are so honored to partner with the Denver Mart and their World Wide Antique and Vintage Show!

The World Wide Antique and Vintage Show has a 47 year tradition and for the first time is adding in a Vintage Fashion show to the mix (that Fashion Denver will be producing).

We are looking for 8-10 Vintage Fashion Guru’s to make this fashion show a success.  We will be holding the Fashion show on Sunday March 15th, the final day of the 3-day extravaganza!  We would like to invite you to participate in the show as a vendor and have your merchandise/fashion as a part of the Vintage Fashion show as well!

On Feb 1st, 2020 Nativ Hotel will be hosting an event called Body Mantra by Christina Marie. Body Mantra is a daytime event that educates attendees on the power of self-love and body positivity. This is done through  fitness classes, food education, fashion show, and top social media influencers sharing their knowledge on a feelings panel. Christina Marie says, “ A body-positive mindset is so important in our society today. For so long we have been told only certain types of bodies are beautiful, or that if we look a certain way on the outside we will finally be happy. I live by the belief that if we can accept who we are and what we look like in the present moment, we will love ourselves into the best version of who we want to be!”

The event goes from 1-5 PM on Saturday, Feb 1st and tickets are available on Event Brite. Ticket types include: General Admission, VIP, and Yoga with top influencer Mindful Jess.

Not your average bang cut…

As I was getting ready today, I realized how dang long my bangs are and I knew that I needed to get a bang cut. I reached out to a couple of people knowing that this was probably too soon to get an appointment and then I thought to myself , “ya know what! I want to see how the salon at my local Walmart does at cutting hair!” To me, it was an exciting adventure because I always get my hair cut by absolutely amazing stylists at local independent salons. But, I thought I’d jump outside my comfort zone and besides, I had to pick up dog food and shampoo.

I wandered into the salon, excited to see who was going to cut my hair. A young man, early 20’s, stepped out of my view and a woman stepped in asking me if she could help me. “YES! Please! I need a bang trim!”

I sat in her chair and she shared her story with me. A woman, 44 (just like me) who got pregnant when she was 19. She dropped out of cosmetology school when she had her baby girl. She talked about how for her next 20+ … Read more!
