Fashion truly flourished as I attended my very first fashion show. Cowboys and Angels, Andrea Tsagas’s winter fashion show, brought nothing but feelings, fashion and furs to the Denver community on Jan. 21. With styling, hair and makeup at the hands of Denver’s own Charlie Price and The Beauty Underground, Void Studios gave fashion lovers an atmospheric night.
Grecian-born designer, Tsagas, has gifted the community with exceptional handmade leathers and furs for over four decades. As each piece is produced in Denver, Colorado, Tsagas aspires to represent forgotten art inspired by the ‘70s, rock and roll, and rodeo queens. His designs accentuate locally sourced leathers, antlers, furs, pelts and semi-precious stones.
Models strutted down the runway revealing an inexplicable impression with midnight mood makeup and hair. Only until after the intermission was the room overtaken with color and coruscation. Tsagas and Price’s choice of intricate hair, platform shoes, and the Western-themed accent pieces emphasized the artistry behind Tsagas’s work.
