CARAVANA AMERICANA BRINGS THE BEST OF LATIN AMERICAN DESIGN TO DENVER COLORADO.

Attention all fashion enthusiasts! The highly anticipated Cities Summit of the Americas is coming to Denver, Colorado from April 26 to 30, and it’s bringing with it an exciting showcase of Latin American fashion and design.

Caravana Americana, a platform that champions the work of emerging Latin American designers, will be presenting the creations of 25 talented fashion and object designers at the event. This is a fantastic opportunity to discover unique and innovative fashion pieces from across Latin America, all in one place.

From avant-garde designs to traditional crafts, the Caravana Americana exhibition promises to be a feast for the senses, offering visitors the chance to explore the rich cultural heritage and artistic vision of Latin America’s fashion and design scene.

In addition to showcasing the best of Latin American fashion and design, Caravana Americana has been at the forefront of promoting and supporting emerging designers since 2016. Over the past few years, they have represented over 300 brands through fourteen face-to-face events in Mexico City, as well as two virtual events during the pandemic.

RECAP // Dali Alive inspired fashion show

If you’re a fan of fashion and Salvador Dali’s surrealistic works, you would have loved the fashion show that took place at Stanley Marketplace on January 31st. The show, produced by Factory Fashion  and Skye Barker Maa, brought together 15 local designers who showcased outfits inspired by Dali’s iconic art.

The event was a celebration of Dali’s impact on art and culture, with The LUME Colorado’s immersive experience DALÍ ALIVE serving as the backdrop for the fashion show. The show was an immersive experience that combined art, fashion, and culture, with guests sipping cocktails while enjoying projections of Dali’s artwork.

The show also featured a performance by jkco.dance, who added a surrealistic touch to the event.

The success of the show highlights the potential for more collaborations between art forms and industries in the future. It was an unforgettable experience that brought together fashion, art, and culture, celebrating the creativity and innovation of local designers.
