A Note From Executive Director Zakery Ferry

Do you or someone you know struggle with mental health? Chances are yes! According to National Alliance on Mental Illness, “1 in 5 adults in the U.S. experience mental illness in a year; 1 in 5 youth (ages 13-18) experience a severe mental disorder in their lifetime.” This ranges from substance abuse, suicidal thoughts/actions, anxiety disorders, depression, and more. Have you ever felt like you wish you could do something about it? Well now you can!

I am absolutely thrilled to be part of this amazing event happening this weekend as we all come together to tune out noise and tune into our hearts. This event was created through amazing people connecting through The Foundlings, a non-profit organization that I am a part of as Sammy Taggett and I bring hope and inspiration back to the orphanage where we came from! A beautiful soul, Sarah Westwood, helped us get this non-profit on it’s feet and she connected us with the amazing Michael Blu.  Their passions combined partnered up with the Foundlings for this memorable and peaceful event.

Mile High Global Meditation is the brainchild of Michael-Blu. His success as a meditation guide in the Denver metro area has shown, as he states, the growing desire of people to find personal strength and be the change they need in their lives.

In April of this year Michael-Blu established the AirBnB Experience ‘Mile High Meditation.’ In Read more!

  1. We pool the resources of businesses and the storytelling capability of of creatives to create a promo video for the non-profit.
  2. We create a large service day for our business partners to come serve that meets tangible needs within the nonprofit so they can serve more or better serve their clients.
The Lion Project is hosting it’s 4th annual gala to celebrate the work it’s done and the vision of what could be in 2018 to continue accelerating the growth of non-profits in Denver.
