Red Ball wrap up
November 19, 2017 – Red, the color of the night. All different hues swept down the runway on Sunday evening. Put on by Denver Colorado AIDS Project and Howard Dental Services at the EXDO Event Center in Downtown Denver, this was an event of the year. Exquisite and innovative local designers, hairstylists, and makeup artists helped transform the event into a sparkling success.

The show opened in a unique way, bringing student designers from the RMCAD (Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design) to the stage to show off their individual creations.
They proudly glided down the stage with their models showcasing their hard work in what seemed like a moment of pure happiness.
Bringing on the start of local designers, Zeljka Sladovic’s designs hit the runway. In what seemed like a bridal affair, ivories, golds, and champagnes took over. The gowns were gorgeously draped and structured to fit the model’s bodies perfectly. My favorite piece from this collection was an elegant peach colored, loosely fit gown with a gold beaded halter top strap.

Fashion Denver celebrates 13 years this June 16th with a fashion market bonanza! Throwing back to the wild wild west, the Bonanza celebrates its history in the RiNo district and the several designers that have contributed to Fashion Denver over the years. The bonanza will feature local designers to shop through, 2 fashion shows (7pm and 9:30pm) and will also benefit the Denver Rescue Mission with a hygiene supply drive.
The Fashion Denver Bonanza will feature local designers and their collection of jewelry, handbags, and belts to apparel to custom couture for men and women. With prices ranging from $5.00 to $300.00 there is something for everybody!

We are thrilled to present “Circle of Love” our 3rd annual dress drive with the Urban Angels to be held at Studio Salon in downtown Denver. The purpose of this dress drive is to not only provide hope, love and joy to little girls around the world in impoverished circumstances, but to provide fun and colorful dresses for girls to play and grow in. Financial gifts donated will be shared between Love a Child and The Hope House of Colorado and will provide food for families in need providing hope for a better future.
For most of these little girls, this is the only new dress that they’ve ever had.
“Hope and love are infused into these dresses and we will never know the full impact of the gift that’s been given,” says Mary Martinez of the Urban Angels.
Peggy Kastning and Mary Martinez, brains behind the Urban Angels, have been serving the homeless community around Denver and spreading positivity and light. After seeing a program about the needs in Haiti, they both wanted to get involved. A major
