Phoenix Rising: A donation drive and celebration for the Second Chance Center

Bradley Allen Apparel and Fashion Denver come together to celebrate Second Chance Center, helping formerly incarcerated people transition to lives of success and fulfillment. This event is created for the community of the SCC and we would love to invite the public to come out and celebrate second chances with us!

DONATION DRIVE: From 11am-2pm, the public is invited to drop off clothing and household donations for men, women and children. If you are unable to donate during our drop off, you can drop off items at our headquarters at Green Spaces, located at 2590 Walnut Street!

STYLE: The Second Chance Center community will have the opportunity to get styled in fashions that have been donated. Whether it’s a job opportunity or just looking and feeling good, our stylists Aria Trillo, Megan Timlin and Stevie-Ray Vance will be on hand to come up with looks for the Second Chance community to truly look and feel their best! Fashion Denver’s fashion camps are designed to unleash the creativity for kids interested in the fashion world. With special guests from the Colorado fashion community to hands on activities in designing accessories and an outfit, our campers end the day with a walk down the runway in their design that they created.
Fashion camp is designed for fashionistas between the ages of 4-11! We have our groups divided equally so even if you are super young or a tween, you’ll be working at the level that you should be.

Our August edition of fashion camp is going to be something like we’ve never done!! There are 2 parts of unique fun to this camp.

Fashion Denver's fashion campWe are using 100% recycled materials (bubble wrap, card board, cans, scraps of papers and ribbons, old office supplies and so much more) to construct an outfit! Using these recycled materials, our camper’s imaginations will soar. We’ll also hear from Jasmin with Eco -Cycle who will be leading our campers on a journey in recycling!

Join the Fashion Denver team for Fashion Camp 2018!! 

Fashion Denver’s fashion camps are designed to unleash the creativity for kids interested in the fashion world. With special guests from the Colorado fashion community to hands on activities in designing accessories and an outfit, our campers end the day with a walk down the runway in their design that they created.

We have an amazing crew of creative designers leading this fashion camp as Megan Timlin, Duane Topping, Tennisia Littleton, Ruth Peterson, Scott Young, Meredith Harris and the crew from Floyd’s 99 Barbershop bring creativity and fun to the day!

This one day camp includes the following:

Kindness coordination activity: This camp, I’ll be doing a “getting to know you activity” as an icebreaker for the campers get to know eachother, make new friends, share goals and fears, and most importantly, understand that fashion, beauty and style is from within and that each of them are beautiful human beings.

Fashion Denver’s fashion camp is no doubt the perfect gift for them. Not only will there be a plentiful abundance of beads, glitter, and every single type of textile they could ever want, they will also get the chance to let their creative juices flow around others with interests similar to them. Fashion Denver’s studio space is also an innovative place for them to create. From designing to the actual making process, they get to be hands on in developing a dream vision of theirs. Red Ball wrap up

November 19, 2017 – Red, the color of the night. All different hues swept down the runway on Sunday evening. Put on by Denver Colorado AIDS Project and Howard Dental Services at the EXDO Event Center in Downtown Denver, this was an event of the year. Exquisite and innovative local designers, hairstylists, and makeup artists helped transform the event into a sparkling success.

The show opened in a unique way, bringing student designers from the RMCAD (Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design) to the stage to show off their individual creations.They proudly glided down the stage with their models showcasing their hard work in what seemed like a moment of pure happiness.

Bringing on the start of local designers, Zeljka Sladovic’s designs hit the runway. In what seemed like a bridal affair, ivories, golds, and champagnes took over. The gowns were gorgeously draped and structured to fit the model’s bodies perfectly. My favorite piece from this collection was an elegant peach colored, loosely fit gown with a gold beaded halter top strap.
