This past Saturday, the elegant ballroom of the Jacquard Hotel in Cherry Creek North became the stage for a dazzling display of rising talent and bold creativity as six emerging designers unveiled their visionary mini collections. With the room buzzing with anticipation, fashion lovers gathered for an unforgettable evening of innovation, style, and storytelling through fabric and form.

Each designer brought a distinct aesthetic to the runway, competing for the chance to showcase a full collection at spring’s Denver Fashion Week. Two designers would rise to the top—one chosen by the judges, the other by the audience.
Here’s a look at the designers:
Medicine Mender
A kaleidoscope of color and creativity, these upcycled ensembles were artfully quilted and pieced together into garments that radiated joy and playfulness. Everyday t-shirts were transformed into layered skirts, reimagined with purpose and flair. Medicine Mender proves that sustainability and style can not only coexist—they can shine. This brand isn’t just designing clothes—it’s mending the world one vibrant stitch at a time.

Timeless Trends by Amelhiah Tene — Judges’ Winner
Rooted in heritage and pulsing with life, Amelhiah’s island-inspired collection honored cultural legacy with sensual silhouettes and effortless confidence. From handwoven pieces to sexy island energy, this line stole the judges’ hearts.

Growing Through It
Youthful, flirty, and unapologetically bold. This collection of shorts, skirts and tops radiated growth, transformation, and style with a fun and feminine edge.

Make You Sparkl e
Evening wear like you’ve never seen—crochet meets couture! Think shimmering threads, sparkly textures, and silhouettes that twinkled under the lights. Dresses, skirts, and tops that lived up to the brand’s name.

Nohealani
This artistic island-infused line featured intricate bikini tops and resort vibes. Each piece was like a wearable work of art—detailed, ethereal, and full of island soul.

CAKEBRAIN — Audience Favorite
End-of-world with a fashion-forward twist. This collection was intense, gritty, and unforgettable. From military-style elements to the bat with a chainsaw tip, CAKEBRAIN pushed the envelope and won the crowd.

Congratulations to both Amelhiah Tene (Timeless Trends) and CAKEBRAIN for securing their place at Spring DFW—we can’t wait to see their full collections on the runway!

A huge thank you to all the designers who shared their hearts and vision, and to the team at the Jacquard Hotel for providing such a stunning space to celebrate creativity and style.
Until next time—keep creating, keep dreaming, and keep showing up in your sparkle.
