Attention aspiring young fashion designers! We’re thrilled to share an exciting opportunity for students in grades 6-11 to participate in a fully-funded fashion design program, thanks to a generous scholarship from the Isabella Joy Foundation in partnership with Factory Fashion!

From September 16 through November 4, 2024, selected students will take part in a dynamic program designed to introduce them to the world of fashion design, culminating in an unforgettable runway show at Denver Fashion Week’s Youth and Teen Couture Show on November 10, 2024.

No prior sewing experience required!

Under the guidance of seasoned professionals, students will work collaboratively in small teams to create their very own capsule collection. They will gain hands-on experience in patterning, sewing, styling, and even working with professional models. In addition, participants will have the chance to meet industry professionals and attend fashion-related field trips, providing an immersive experience in the fashion world.

Classes will be held at the Factory Fashion Central Park Garage studio, with class sessions taking place every Monday from 5:30-7:30 PM between September 16 and November 4. The final runway show will be held on Sunday, November 10th at Denver Fashion Week, an event not to be missed!

Application Process
To apply for this scholarship, students should submit either a 2-3 paragraph typed statement or a 3–5-minute video recording. This submission should highlight their interest in fashion, share their current fashion influences, and explain why they want to attend this program.
