On July 12th, Fillmore Plaza in Cherry Creek North transformed into a vibrant celebration of French culture and fashion for the Bastille Day French Fest, organized by the French American Chamber of Commerce Rocky Mountain. The event showcased the creativity and passion of local designers and style enthusiasts, captivating the audience with unique and diverse collections.

The fashion show, produced and emceed by the founder of Fashion Denver, Brandi McMichael, began with a charming parade of little Madeline’s inspired by the beloved children’s books. Dressed by Skye Aire, Brandi led the way, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening.
Featured Designers:
Adobe Darko: Chaim Bellinsky brought his innovative Frisbee Core collection to the runway, featuring clothing made from frisbees adorned with logos of popular brands like Wendy’s, Home Depot, and Ikea. This playful and creative approach captivated the audience.
Maggie Burns under Marie Margot-Couture: Maggie presented two exquisite and unique bridal dresses, each a masterpiece of elegance and craftsmanship, leaving the crowd in awe of their beauty.
Duane Topping: Duane’s collection was a hit, with each piece exuding sexiness, fun, and uniqueness. His designs showcased a remarkable variety, ensuring there was something for everyone.
Brooks Luby: Brooks impressed with a collection that blended French flair with practicality. Her designs, made from tablecloths and napkins, were both innovative and stylish, embodying the spirit of French chic.

Skye Aire: Known for her avant-garde creations, Skye did not disappoint. Her standout piece was a striking rendition of Napoleon, and she also dressed the emcee, Brandi McMichael, in the colors of France, adding a patriotic touch to the event.
Jae Manifest, Kerry Kinnard, Dan Kessler, BrookStar, and Kate Nelson: These style mavens showcased their French-inspired designs, complete with canine companions. Kerry and Dan’s dogs were a delightful addition, with Dan’s dog, Pierre, named after the inventor of the guillotine, adding a quirky historical reference.
