Friday, November 15, 2024, the Women’s Entrepreneurship Day (WED) Colorado Summit will bring together Denver’s brightest minds in entrepreneurship, community leadership, and innovation. Hosted at the CU Denver School of Business’s Jake Jabs Center for Entrepreneurship, this event is designed to empower women entrepreneurs and future leaders through a day packed with networking, knowledge-sharing, and inspiration.

A Day of Inspiration and Learning This year’s WED Colorado Summit invites a diverse community of women entrepreneurs, high school and college students, and business professionals to come together to explore vital twenty-first-century leadership skills. Attendees will dive into workshops and interactive sessions that cover collaboration, personal and business branding, and the art of managing mindsets for entrepreneurial success.
The event opens with a keynote by visibility expert Marta Spirk and includes a leadership activity with Amy Duncan to get participants energized and ready for the day. In addition to morning breakout sessions, lunch with a keynote address by Beryl Stafford, founder of Bobo’s, will provide attendees with insights from a pioneer in the healthy snack industry. A post-summit networking session will round out the day, giving participants the chance to connect and collaborate.
Breakout Session with Brandi Shigley of Fashion Denver In her afternoon breakout session, Brandi will share her entrepreneurial journey and offer insights on “The Art of Connecting and Creating Collaborations.” With her background in building brands like B. Shigley Bags and serving as the Marketing and Events Coordinator for The Lion Project, Brandi’s session will provide practical advice and strategies for cultivating valuable partnerships that fuel growth and make a lasting impact.
