DENVER — (Sept 27, 2023) Clothing designer Brooks LTD, Chrissy Liu Jewelry, and milliner Miss Victoria Regina just announced an exclusive two-day only fashion trunk show to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer.

By uniting glamour and goodwill, this unique collaboration promises to showcase a collection of exquisite designs from each designer in an unforgettable historical setting. Each designer is bringing a special selection of her jewelry, hats and headwear, or ready-to wear items; Brooks LTD, run by breast cancer-survivor Brooks Luby, has created one-of-a- kind wearable items specifically for the event.

Very nearly “couture for a cause,” a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Littleton-based nonprofit Hope Held by a Horse, an organization that emotionally supports women with breast cancer by providing healing horses for animal therapy so women can learn, grow, and heal.

Hosted at the Brooks LTD atelier, attendees can contribute to a meaningful cause while shopping, mingling, enjoying light refreshments and drinks, and potentially … Read more!

Denver, CO – July 5th, 2023 – Meow Wolf Denver is thrilled to announce its very first trash fashion show, where innovation and sustainability collide in a dazzling display of avant-garde looks. This trashtastic event will feature 20 local designers unveiling their mind-boggling, recycled and upcycled creations on the runway. Get ready to be blown away by the transformation from refuse to remarkable; the trashier the better!

While the fashion industry is vital to American culture and self expression, the impact to the environment is hard to ignore. Scientists estimate that, globally, 35% of the microplastics found in oceans can be traced to textiles, making them the largest source of microplastic pollution in the world’s oceans. (Bloomberg)

Meow Wolf is committed to sustainability and as such, many of the costumes designed by Wardrobe Coordinator Kate Major are reused, upcycled, and recreated from unwanted materials–as was the case for her look presented at the Spring ‘23 Paper Fashion Show.
