What an unforgettable day we had at Fashion Camp—bursting with creativity, sparkle, and 80s flair! 💖✂️👗

From the moment the kiddos arrived, we could feel the buzz of excitement in the air. It was a day filled with crafting, styling, walking the runway, and letting imaginations run wild. Whether they were bedazzling, patching denim, or strutting their stuff, these campers absolutely shined.

But none of this magic would have been possible without YOU—our incredible community of parents, volunteers, and partners. So, let’s give a huge round of applause (and maybe a confetti toss 🎉) to:

The French American Chamber of Commerce Rocky Mountain is thrilled to announce the return of Bastille Day: French Fest, taking place July 11–13, 2025, at Fillmore Plaza in Cherry Creek North—Denver’s most vibrant and walkable neighborhood. This free, family- and pet-friendly outdoor celebration highlights French culture and its global connections, bringing together the elegance, flavor and creativity of France with the diverse traditions of communities around the world. This year, guests can also enjoy specially curated, ticketed wine and culinary experiences produced in partnership with Vin Social.

From Trash to Textiles: A Fashion Adventure with Valor Christian High School Seniors

Earlier this year, I had the absolute joy of heading back to Valor Christian High School for Year 3 of leading their senior conservatory students on a one-of-a-kind fashion adventure!

Our mission? To take upcycled materials—mostly sourced from the quirky and wonderful Charlie’s Tool Shop—and transform them into stunning, wearable art. Each team of students worked together to create one complete look, blending Charlie’s finds with treasures they thrifted or purchased on their own.

Every week, I’d pop in to see their designs coming to life—watching as demolition bags, old hardware, and unexpected odds and ends were stitched into something magical. It was so fun to see each student’s creativity shine, watching them experiment, problem-solve, and think outside the box—or, in this case, the toolbox!

A Love Letter in Photos: Julie Trinh Shoots Denver Fashion Week

We were so lucky to have Julie Trinh capture Denver Fashion Week through her lens this season!

Julie is an award-winning wedding and lifestyle photographer based out of Omaha, Nebraska, and we were introduced to her by our very own “on the reg” photographer and community connector, Mio (aka Photo Maki).

With a decade of photojournalism experience and a passion for authentic storytelling, Julie brought her signature true-to-color style and keen eye for candids to Fashion Denver, and we are still swooning over the magic she captured.
