Wardrobe Weekend at the Clayton

On March 9th, we were in for a memorable evening of mingling and style at Blake Glenn Joseph’s Wardrobe Weekend, held at the elegant Clayton. This inaugural event marked the beginning of what promises to be a regular gathering, aimed at bringing together Denver’s local style community. With a focus on fostering connections and supporting a worthy cause, Dress for Success Denver, the evening unfolded as a celebration of fashion and camaraderie.

As I entered the refined atmosphere of the Clayton, I was greeted by an ambiance buzzing with excitement and anticipation. The space was alive with the chatter of fashionable friends, each conversation a testament to the vibrant spirit of Denver’s style scene. Against a backdrop of chic décor, guests mingled, forming new connections and sharing in their love for fashion and really, life in general!

While there wasn’t a traditional fashion show, the true essence of style was palpable in every corner of the Clayton. Attendees showcased their unique fashion sensibilities, each outfit a reflection of personal flair and individuality. From funky accessories to classic silhouettes, the diversity of attire mirrored the eclectic tastes of Denver’s fashion enthusiasts.

Adding an extra layer of artistic flair to the evening, Mari Pardun,  painted her canvas and the painting came to life as the evening went on.

In addition to visual artistry, Wardrobe Weekend also embraced the power of words as Vitorio took the mic, weaving words of inspiration and empowerment that resonated deeply with those in attendance. His performance served as a poignant reminder of the transformative potential of self-expression and community.

Central to the evening’s festivities was the spirit of giving back. Through collaboration with Dress for Success Denver, Wardrobe Weekend provided an opportunity for guests to support a cause dedicated to empowering women on their journey to economic independence through a silent auction of fashionable items.

As the night came to a close, it was clear that Wardrobe Weekend had achieved its goal of bringing together Denver’s fashion community in a meaningful and impactful way. Through mingling, art, and poetry, Glenn Blake Joseph had created a space where  connections blossomed, and hearts were touched.
