Event Highlights

September 26: A Night in Luxury

The festivities kick off with “A Night in Luxury,” an exclusive dinner that brings together designers, industry leaders, and the founders of Color of Fashion. Held at Le French, a renowned bistro known for its modern Parisian cuisine with global and Senegalese influences, this intimate gathering will feature a gourmet five-course meal paired with fine wines selected by award-winning sommelier Maia Parish. Expect stimulating conversations about the future of diversity in fashion and an elegant atmosphere that sets the tone for the days ahead.


September 27: OULA

Fashion Program Full Scholarship Opportunity: Students to Showcase at Denver Fashion Week!

Attention aspiring young fashion designers! We’re thrilled to share an exciting opportunity for students in grades 6-11 to participate in a fully-funded fashion design program, thanks to a generous scholarship from the Isabella Joy Foundation in partnership with Factory Fashion!

From September 16 through November 4, 2024, selected students will take part in a dynamic program designed to introduce them to the world of fashion design, culminating in an unforgettable runway show at Denver Fashion Week’s Youth and Teen Couture Show on November 10, 2024.

No prior sewing experience required!

Under the guidance of seasoned professionals, students will work collaboratively in small teams to create their very own capsule collection. They will gain hands-on experience in patterning, sewing, styling, and even working with professional models. In addition, participants will have the chance to meet industry professionals and attend fashion-related field trips, providing an immersive experience in the fashion world.

Classes will be held at the Factory Fashion Central Park Garage studio, with class sessions taking place every Monday from 5:30-7:30 PM between September 16 and November 4. The final runway show will be held on Sunday, November 10th at Denver Fashion Week, an event not to be missed!… Read more!

The Emerging Designer Challenge was created to support and elevate Denver’s growing and diverse fashion scene. Many local designers just beginning their brands have the talent to be successful, but are missing the platform to get their designs in front of more eyes. It’s a one of a kind experience for smaller brands to showcase their talent without worry of getting overshadowed by recognizable names. We involve the audience and a panel of industry professionals as judges to choose the two brands who will get to present a full collection at Denver Fashion Week Fall 2024. Denver Fashion Week Announces 2024 Fall Designer Challenge Coming to The Alley at Dairy Block in Downtown Denver on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2024

Denver Fashion Week, one of America’s fastest growing fashion platforms, today announced its fall Designer Challenge coming to the Alley at Dairy Block in Downtown Denver on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2024 at 8 p.m.

Five designers, who have never shown at Denver Fashion Week, will create five looks to showcase on the outdoor runway and go head to head in a competition where the audience and a panel of judges will each select a winner to show their collection in Denver Fashion Week’s Fall season scheduled for November 9 – 17, 2024.

As Colorado’s most prominent fashion event, thousands of
attendees show up each year to support Denver’s growing and
diverse fashion community. The Designer Challenge, which
started in 2021, helps to create opportunities for growing local

French Fest Recap: A Celebration of Fashion and French Culture in Cherry Creek North

On July 12th, Fillmore Plaza in Cherry Creek North transformed into a vibrant celebration of French culture and fashion for the Bastille Day French Fest, organized by the French American Chamber of Commerce Rocky Mountain. The event showcased the creativity and passion of local designers and style enthusiasts, captivating the audience with unique and diverse collections.

The fashion show, produced and emceed by the founder of Fashion Denver, Brandi McMichael, began with a charming parade of little Madeline’s inspired by the beloved children’s books. Dressed by Skye Aire, Brandi led the way, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening.
